Township: Life After Apartheid. 2004-2015

Since 2004, I have explored life in predominantly black townships outside of Cape Town, South Africa. In the 17 years since the end of apartheid, South Africans have held on to hope that housing, jobs, and a better standard of living will become available to all. Yet, townships remain places where mere survival, not quality of life, define residents' daily life.
